I have ported my number today based on the fact EE advise that it can be 24 hours working day etc. However when i have gone through the process i have received a text to advise all setup will take place by 6pm on 12-12-2023 which is nearly 3 weeks away. Has anybody else experienced this??

If you start using the SIM, this may activate the port to start on the next working day.
Could you try this and let us know if the number transfers Monday?

Thanks for replying. I have received a message from EE this morning to say number was ported but unfortunately my old number is still not in place for telephone calls or text

The number port can take up until midnight to fully complete, could you please let me know how you get on?

I have the same problem. It tells me it will be activated 27-12-2023. I need to make calls as I am going away.

I agree the automated system is a waste of time. I need to speak to a real person about the date when my old number will be activated.

Good morning @RH1202.
When calling 150 please select option 2 you will then be taken to the automated system which will allow you to connect to an agent after following the steps for your query.
When did you provide EE with your PAC code?

I have now turned my phone off , left my phone off as sometime requested and waited until after midnight even though the text has confirmed port is complete i still do not have my old number available. Can you please help urgently as I need this number up and running.
In addition I purchased 2 SIMS for the account the second one was for my teenage daughter, we did the port number on the same day but she has not even received a text to say complete and her number is still not across neither which again is an issue so can you please look into both or advise how I can escalate. I have tried to go to MYEE but as these were only SIM purchases i have to connect the device etc. but this is failing all the time as when it asks for mobile number i put the number sin we want to keep and it obviously text that number the passcode. I don't want to put the current numbers in as when the change then it may cause other issues. Can you please advise how i can get this resolved ASAP.

Hi @Ncull177.
When setting up your My EE you will be OK setting up with the temporary number provided by EE. Once your number port completes this will automatically update for you.
As your number is still not with you I'd recommend giving us a call so our technical care team can look into this.

I would love to be able to speak to someone but every option I select on 150 it then offers to send a text which it does and ends the call. so i cant actually get through to speak to someone can you please advise.
