Porting In Hasn’t Happened

I bought a new monthly sim and requested to port into EE at the time of ordering and the sim arrived last Saturday.
When the sim was inserted a text message was received saying the port would be complete on {DD}{MM}.
I presumed that as the request was on Saturday that the port would be completed today (New Year’s Eve) but the port hasn’t taken place.
What do I do to find out when the port will happen?

@StuBazFrost no request would be made Saturday as ports do not commence over weekends at the earliest this should’ve been requested Monday for a completion Tuesday as it takes up to 24 hours to migrate a number the problem you’ve got is it’s Christmas/Newyears so you need to allow more time than usual.

I expected it to be completed today since it isn’t a bank holiday but of course the text message didn’t give me an actual date.
I guess I should leave it until Thursday and then contact EE if it doesn’t happen then?

@StuBazFrost To be honest I’m surprised it’s not been completed today especially since you got the sim Saturday. But it is the Christmas period and it’s an awkward time to be changing providers. You could try calling tomorrow tomorrow to chase this up. Don’t expect it to start tomorrow though for compilation Thursday. But you never know. 🤞
