Ported number from 3 to ee no incoming sms

Hi

 

I transferred my number from 3 to ee it said it was successful but I don’t seem to be able to receive incoming text messages is they anyway this could be fixed without me calling ee as I’m not very good at talking to people on the phone.

Welcome to the community.

A number port from one network to another usually goes through the next working day. If today is your port day, it could be that you're experiencing split service. This means you'll be able to make calls and send texts from one SIM, and receive them on the other. It usually only lasts a short time before it fixes itself.

If the port hasn't gone through by tomorrow morning, I recommend speaking with our customer support team so that they can check everything from our side for you.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 150 for mobile and 0330 123 1105 for Broadband..

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

mentioned

@Northerner : Msg. Centre is not used incoming, only outgoing.
