I have two contract sim only on my EE account, mine and I pay for my parents sim. I’ve recently sorted out with my parents a new broadband and utilities deal (not with EE) which includes a sim only package so what I would like to do is this. The 2nd sim only line/parents sim on my account though is in contract until April 27, so is it possible to:
1) port out the 2nd sim only line to the new provider
2) and then port in another family members mobile PAYG line to my EE 2nd line on my account as otherwise I’m going to have to pay early termination charges I imagine.
no other suggestions necessary just the above folks😎

@wenklaw it’s not possible to port out a number and replace it with a different number. The moment you port out a number it’ll terminate the contract.

Thought as much. It’s not that bad as looking at £75 ish.

@wenklaw it’s monthly cost times number months left minus 4%. Customer support and give you an exact figure.

Minus VAT too I read?

@wenklaw No. They remove the vat from the monthly cost then work out the remaining cost than re add the vat on that figure then it’s minus 4%x
