Port number request has been almost a week

I got an EE sim only contract, and received my SIM card almost a week ago.

i got a pac code from Vodafone, and provided this to EE via 150 text service.

All seemed fine. Have done this a number of times in the past, and has taken. Say to two at most. 
6 days later, number still hasn’t ported.

bht the worst thing is, there doesn’t seem to be any way to enquire about status of this?

it would appear there is no actual way to speak to a human being at EE customer service.

have spent half an hour going down various rabbit holes of menu options on 150 number, and not only is there no ‘general enquiries’ option, but  every menu path seems to end in the same stupid link being texted to me, with no ability to ask the question I want.

ie how long is this number port going to actually take?!

Welcome to the community. 

Is your Vodafone SIM still working OK?

If you submit the form before 5.30pm on a working day, we will endeavour to have your number transferred the following working day.

If your request is made after 5.30pm, or made on a weekend or bank holiday, your number will take two working days to transfer.

When calling 150 please select option 2, you will then need to select options to speak with technical support.
