Port Forwarding

Evening all,

I have been advised to forward my ports in relation to a Eufy Homebase 2 to establish a better connection with the Eufy doorbell.

I was advised to change to the below

TCP port 80, 443 and UDP port 65535.

Can anyone advise how I change to this? I have gone into admin, firewall, create rule but then it says internal and external with a start and end for both?

Thank you for any advice.

For single ports you usually  put the External = the Internal. So you would have 3 rules:

  • External  Internal TCP/UDP
  •       80             80          TCP
  •      443           443        TCP
  •  65535        65535     UDP

I  v. much doubt you need 80 & 443. They are into the router itself. A doorbell shouldn't need any incoming ports open. Who told you that?

On which router?

Hi, did you manage to fix this as I’m having issues with connecting the doorbell to my wifi? Tried the porting but it didn’t work
