Hi

Ive signed up for a sim only deal today and the email says my number will be ported over in 24 hours. What if the new sim hasn’t arrived by tomorrow and I’m left without a working phone?

is it really 24 hours from placing an order?

Your no. won't be ported until within 1 working day of when you have received your EE SIM & activated it on EE network. Until then your existing SIM on your old network will continue working.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hello @NHarris85 ,

Welcome to the community,

You should have waited until you received the SIM card to port your number over, as SIM cards are sent via second class post, and you would have received a temporary number with the SIM card.

You can always go into an EE high street store with photo ID and get one there.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
