Is it a pay as you go SIM card or a pay monthly contract one? Was it a replacement SIM that you ordered or is it a new connection/upgrade?

If you ordered a replacement SIM I’d contact customer service.
If you just ordered a free SIM from EE or an off the shelf SIM you will not get your number back.
