PAYG Sim -two numbers??

Hello! I got a PAYG sim a few months ago and I wanted my old number so went through all that good stuff to get it back. But for some reason I have two numbers now 😅 folks can text my old number and it still comes through but when I message back they’ve said it comes back through a different number. On my EE app it’s the right number (my old one), on my iPhone in contacts, my number is the right one. Does anyone know how I go about fixing this?

@Ejd137  turn off iMessage and FaceTime then restart the device then check your number is correct in settings/mobile services.  If it shows correct you can reenable iMessage on FaceTime.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I presume that "all that good stuff to get it back" refers to using a PAC to port a number into EE from another network. If so, the rest of your post is a classic explanation of a "split port" where some aspects of your service have ported in, but others haven't.

EE-CS can set about rectifying split ports if you contact them on 150.

Legend! Thank you. That seemed to have done it 😬
