PAC when service has been cancelled

PADLTD

Hi

I ended my contract with EE around 30 days ago but at the time I was not asked whether I wanted to port my number. Today, I have found out that my contract has been cancelled and PAC number has not been sent to me.

I would like to keep my number, is it too late for a PAC code to be sent to me?

Thanks

Hello @PADLTD ,

Welcome to the community,

You should have told them when you cancelled you wanted to keep your number, not sure that you will be able to get the PAC code as your contract has ended. I can only suggest ringing customer service and see what they have to say, they are the ones who can advise you on this.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hi @PADLTD

In order to have ended your contract, you must have given explicit notice to disconnect - this is a different process to that of requesting your PAC to transfer your mobile number.

Once your line has been disconnected, then your number is no longer yours and is passed back to EE who cannot now issue a PAC against it.

If you were disconnected around a month ago, then by all means ask EE C/S if it can be recovered - however I strongly suspect it's far too late and "your" number has gone.
