PAC code not working

I’ve received my new EE phone today and tried to start the process to port my existing number from Vodafone.

The pac code given to me 5 days ago isn’t being recognised by the EE transfer my number form.

I’m attempting this at 18:30 on a Thursday evening if that’s of any relevance ?

Welcome to our community.

I'm sorry you're having trouble transferring your number across. If it is an EE number already, you cannot move the number across to another account using a PAC. PACs are only for transferring across networks. 

Have you taken out a new contract rather than upgrading your existing number?
