Old SIM card

I’ve just got a new IPhone 16 and used the eSIM transfer feature. I’m now unsure of what to do with my old SIM card. Should I keep it safe somewhere or just throw it out?

If you have an eSIM the physical SIM is no longer operative and you can bin it.
