Your new EE SIM will have a temporary number assigned when you first receive it. If a PAC was supplied as part of the order, that will be submitted when you first activate the new SIM onto EE's network.

A port-in date will be set then, usually the following working day. This assumes activation during normal working hours - if during the evening, add an extra working day to these timescales.

If you activated your EE SIM before 5pm today, Friday 18th, your PAC should have been submitted today for port-in on Monday 21st. If you did so after 5pm Friday 18th, it should be submitted on Monday 21st for port-in Tuesday 22nd.

Hey @Ac1253.

Welcome to the EE Community, and it's fantastic to hear you're making the switch over, too!

I'd definitely check out the details @bristolian has mentioned here around porting, as it gives a good breakdown of when things are likely to switch.

Just a a further heads up, too - In order for your SIM to activate, you'll need to insert your new EE SIM into the new phone and establish a connection to our network.

You should get a series of welcome texts when you do this, and this will indicate that it's active on our network.
