New phone no sim card new to ee

So I've just got a contract phone with ee for the samsung s24 ultra and haven't received a similar card so can't use the phone will it arrive after the phone or what as don't see the point in buying a sim when I'm paying for a contract and data plan?

Thanks for coming here. 

Did you upgrade an existing EE contract? 

Could you check the delivery packaging to see if you have an envelope with the SIM card inside?
