Hello. I have a new number with ee and I’d like to keep my old number. I tried using the porting code but it won’t let me as it says I need to create an account. Problem with this being I already have an account with my old number so I can’t use the same email address.
please can someone help me to do this? Thank you

You can't port within the same network.
EE won't port nos between its contracts. So you need to 1st port your existing no to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE & then in reverse port it back to your new contract. This will also have the effect of cancelling your old contract.
You could alternatively move your old contract to PAYG with 30 days notice & then ask EE to transfer the no to your new contract.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

My old contract was cancelled. I’m now using a payg sim and was trying to keep the same number but I can’t figure out how to do this.
even if I can’t do it, I can’t create a new EE account because my old account has my email and it won’t let me use it to create a new one.

Hi @Aiyana7 if you call customer services on 150 they will migrate your number from your PAYG account to your PAYM account they call this a transfer of CTN if you got any credit left on your PAYG account I would mention it to the advisor.
