I have an existing account but my daughter wants to open her own account. Her simo is still in contract with me. Will that sim on my account work in her phone on her own account?

To change the legal ownership of a pay-monthly subscription, the owner will need to pass a credit check.

Take a read of the third point under this page, under "Transfer to a friend, colleague or family member"..

You need to call CS with both of you available on the line to effect a change of ownership. She will need to pass a credit check. She will then be paying for her own contract. If you can't do it together CS will give the current owner a password for her to quote when she calls.

Sorry, neither of you seem to understand. Will her SIM card work in the new phone? Not combine accounts.

@Username5025 , yes, no reason why it should not work. You can always put the SIM card in another phone, the problem would only arise if a phone were locked to another network, which was the problem in the past, but now phones should not be locked to a network.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.
