I recently bought a sim only deal online via the EE website and when I put the order through I also gave my PAC code so I could keep my old number. I did this on Friday and now today is Tuesday, I was told it would only take a couple of hours. Can someone explain if I have done this right or not, I’ve followed all the instructions and also competed another number transfer form.

Your new EE SIM will have a temporary number assigned when you first receive it. If a PAC was supplied as part of the order, that will be submitted when you first activate the new SIM onto EE's network.
A port-in date will be set then, usually the following working day. This assumes activation during normal working hours - if during the evening, add an extra working day to these timescales.

How do I activate the EE sim? I just get “no service” when I put it in my phone. And how would I receive the port in date?

Good morning @Myaaran
Welcome to the EE Community.
Is the phone you have put the Sim card in unlocked?
Thanks

Yes phone is unlocked, sky sim has now been turned off and I’ve still got no signal or service with my EE sim. What do I do as I can’t even call anyone to sort it?
I even called yesterday before my service got disconnected and the guy on the phone said it should be activated 12-5pm or from 12am onwards. And still no service

Thanks for getting back to me @Myaaran
Would you be able to try your EE Sim card in another phone just to make sure its not the phone. I know you mentioned you cannot call due to your Sky Sim card deactivating, would you be able to pop into an EE store?
Thanks
