New EE customer - cannot make calls

Hi, I just transferred to EE mobile yesterday afternoon.

My former provider (Vodafone) stopped working just now, but I cannot make or receive calls on EE. Not ideal for work.

EE say to call for technical support - but I can't!

Can anyone please advise?

For clarity, when was/is your port-in date?

You've mentioned transferring "yesterday afternoon" suggesting Thursday 25th, but then "my former provider stopped working just now" suggesting today, Friday 26th.

A port-in is usually set for the working day after you submit your PAC, and split service is perfectly normal on the day of port-in.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I switched yesterday afternoon, putting in my PAK. Vodafone has stepped working today but EE not working yet.

When exactly did you provide your PAC (Porting Authority Code)?

If you supplied this before approx 4pm yesterday Thursday 25th, your port-in is today Friday 26th. For your port-in to have been yesterday Thursday 25th, you would have supplied your PAC on Wednesday 24th.

This all goes towards clarifying what stage of the port-in you are at. On your port-in day you should receive a text message confirming the process complete - have you received this?
