My phone stopped registering its sim card

Yesterday evening walked up to the shops, my Internet dropped out and I couldn't tu4n mobile data back on.  Got a message saying to insert a sim card to access network.

My account is paid up as far as I can tell, so maybe its a technical issue.  I've restarted, taken the card out and put it back in numerous times.  It maybe registers for long enough to notify me of missed calls and then drops out.

Suggestions?

@Warsie  Sounds like you’ve got a faulty SIM card and need to request a replacement SIM card.      But try giving the sim a clean with a damp cloth then dry it and put it back in the device.

You'll have to go to a EE store to request a replacement ( you’ll need in date photo ID with you ) or you’ll have to cal customer services to request a replacement sim.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
