My Number has still not been ported over from O2

Good morning. Joss here, new to EE.

Yesterday I put my pay monthly sim in to my phone 16/03/2023.  according 150 NUMBER I am still on a temporary Number. How long does it take to port my number over? I can not receive calls nor text.

Hi @jossmer,

If you provided your PAC code when you purchased your SIM, your number transfer should start automatically when the SIM is activated.

If you activated the SIM yesterday, I would expect the transfer to complete today or Monday, depending on the time it was processed.

Please keep an eye out for a text to let you know it has completed.

When did you provide your PAC code?

If we received your number transfer request before 5:30pm, your number should be transferred the following working day. If it was after 5:30pm, please allow two working days.

I have an e sim and have my pac code to the assistant in store. It’s been 24 hours and nothing has happened. Apparently I am to wait for a text to come through to them follow instructions to scan my e sim code ?

Hi @Grantie73 

Port-in can take place any time up to midnight on your port-in date, as long as your SIM is active. 

If you've not already installed the eSIM using the QR code, please follow the steps at Installing Downloading and using an EE eSIM. Once it's working on your phone with a temporary number, making your first call will activate the Port in process to take place the next day.
