Mobile numbers

Hi, I got a new phone last month and just realised whenever I’ve FaceTimed people or I messaged it has been on the temporary number I got from EE when my old number was being transferred from O2. I have already tried rebooting and have deactivated the one EE gave me when I got the sim but my old number will still only do calls and SMS. What do I do now ???

Thanks for coming to the community. 

If you go into Settings and select Facetime and also iMessage, does the correct number show? 

If so, please try turning both off and resetting the phone, when turned back on does this resolve the issue?

I had this with WhatsApp when I ported a number to EE a couple of years ago. In the end I ordered a replacement SIM card as that seemed to be the only way to get WhatsApp to recognise the correct number.
