I cancelled my rolling contract and moved my number - just asking for confirmation that it closes my account when the number changes over to my new provider?

Also how do I stop all the text messages from EE - thought they would automatically disable.  Texted STOP to 4020 but not sending

@Ca_booth_84 : Yes, your EE contract will be cancelled when you port your no. to another network using a PAC.

To stop marketing texts from EE you needed to text STOP to 2040 while still with EE.
