Messaging. When will messaging service be resumed.

Why have I been allocated a new mobile number. Having moved from BT to EE and used a PAC to retain my old BT number I am unable to receive calls or texts. Please help.

@Alwimb   SIM cards are sent out with a number already attached to it and your number has to migrate over to that SIM card otherwise you would have been cut off until you got the EE SIM card.    You can not have 2 sims with the same number. 

Number ports do not happen over the weekend and can take upto 24 hours.  So depending on when you got the EE sim it’ll not be ported till Tuesday.
