My husband is on EE, I want to switch to EE. We’ve gone to his account and purchased an additional SIM (physical) added my (giffgaff) phone number and PAC code. But now my husband has lost network connection. I’m worried I’ve decommission his original EE phone number. Have I messed up?! How can I fix this please?

I should probably add that we also upgraded his sim only deal at the same time. In case that’s relevant.
We’ve got WiFi at home - he’s able to send WhatsApp messages - does that mean his original phone number is still active? Hopefully 🤞

Hey there, @Kiwielite
Welcome to the EE Community.
I'd say it's very unlikely that ordering the additional SIM and providing your PAC details has had any impact on his number.
Your number would not be due to transfer until you've received the new SIM and it has connected to our network, and even then the transfer doesn't take place immediately.
When you completed checkout on the upgrade for his SIM, did it mention anything about needing a new SIM, or switching to an eSIM?
There's a chance that there may have been a SIM replacement take place for his number, so I'd recommend giving our team a call as soon as you can and we can confirm what's showing at our end.
