Leaving EE, not receiving the PAC code

Shwanski

I ported my number from another mobile network to EE temporarily in order to port it back to the same network for a better plan. Now my number is active on EE, but without any credit on it. I  have been trying to get the PAC code from EE, but without any success. I  texted three letters (PAC) many times for the past week to 65075, but no PAC code has been received yet. I called EE customer service. I was advised that I should top up some credit on the number to get the PAC, which I think is incorrect advice as to my knowladge EE or any othe UK mobile network are obliged to provide the PAC code free of charge and without any topping up.I tried " Leaving EE" on  EE website; however, after logging into my account,I see a message on the EE page stating" the service is  not available currently "

Any advice on how to resolve this matter and get the PAC would be highly appreciated.

Hi @Shwanski

If you give us a call, a guide can provide you with a PAC then and there over the phone.

@Shwanski : On a new EE PAYG SIM you can't receive texts until you have at least topped-up something. So your PAC is being sent to you (for free) but you are unable to receive it. This has come about consequent upon the recent Online Safety Act .
