Kidsnav watch

Hi, I’m trying to set up a Kidsnav watch with an ee SIM card. The problem is, when setting up it’s asking for the code sent by text message to the sim. However, the watch doesn’t allow text messages. Does anyone know how I’d be able to get past or get round this please? Just finding it a bit of a nightmare.

@2666missnt   Put the sim in a phone until it’s activated. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Do you have an EE or unlocked phone you could pop the SIM in to receive the text?
