Issue with Pac code

Recently upgraded my mobile from BT - EE, I wanted to keep my old phone number and filled out the form EE provides once I got my new form to perform the switch. Once it gets to (insert pac code) it always comes up with the error 'Please make sure you enter the right code. Your PAC will look like ABC123456, Your STAC will look like 123456ABC.' I'm unsure on what to do besides calling EE, I've made sure on the PAC expiry code from BT and it expires 22nd Dec 2023 so its not an expiry issue, any advice?
