Is esim only available for subscription pack, not for pay as you go?

I would like to know if I want to change sim to esim,do I need to change my Pay as you go to subscription pack plans?

@urchinshen  to use the eSIM you have to be a contract customer. This includes a Sim only contract. It does not cover PAYG or subscription based PAYG.      You have to have a contract.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
