Hi @_Jo_Boughton-81

Welcome to the community.

If you want to cancel a pay as you go SIM, and don't need to keep the number, you just need to stop any top-ups, and not use the SIM. It will then automatically disconnect after 9 months of no chargeable use.

You mentioned the PUK code, that is for unblocking a SIM that is blocked. Is it that you need, or is it the PAC to move the number to another network?

Michael

@_Jo_Boughton-81 : It would seem that you have lost your PAYG SIM, have bought a new one and want to transfer the lost number to the new SIM using a PAC. Well, you can't do that. A PAC can only be used between different networks. You might get it done by phoning CS or more likely by visiting an EE store with some photo ID.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi @Pecampbell

If you're looking to switch networks, you'll need a PAC code to keep your number.

You can visit How Do I Cancel My Contract with EE for self-service options, including PAC code to take your number.

However, as you are looking to move to another provider it may be worth giving our disconnections team a call on 150 who can issue your PAC code, and also see what they can do to help you stay with us.
