I can`t receive calls and text

Hello,
I have activated my SIM card and completed the identity verification process, but I am not receiving any SMS messages or phone calls. Because of this, I am unable to receive the verification code needed to create a Google account.
Please check and resolve the issue with not receiving messages and calls.

@Raha1944 , did you activate your SIM card in the UK and make a chargeable call or text before going abroad? If you did not, then you cannot use the SIM card until you return to the UK as it first needs activating in the UK.

Did you receive the welcome message from EE? If not, then that proves that the SIM card has not been activated, as EE is a UK network, it would first need activating in the UK, and once done, you would have received the welcome message, where you can pay for credit to use it abroad.

Hi @Raha1944 

As @Schockwave asks you need to activate EE Sims in the UK on the EE network. If you haven't done this then the SIM will not work.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

I just paid £5. What should I do now? I need to use my SIM card.

@Raha1944 , if you have received the welcome message, then click on it to add data, simple, use the message to do so, that is the only way to add data for you to use, by using the message and following it.

I would suggest putting more credit and also try doing a manual search first to see if you can get one of the networks to work, this is always recommended, also try putting your phone into airplane mode and back again, reboot your phone, these are the ways to see if it all works.
