How do i get my sim converted to eSIM when i get an iPhone 15 from Apple?

Im on a EE sim only plan, with an iPhone XS Max. Physical sim. 

Ive pre ordered a 15 Pro Max and so will need an eSIM. Ive seen the tutorials about how to load the eSIM, but where do i get the QR code from. There is no option in the EE app on my current phone. Does it appear once i get the app on the new phone?

Do i need to contact CS?

Sorry, never had to go through this before so im at a loss.

@Davebass5  You can just put your sim in the device,  you don’t need to use the eSim within the new device.       It’s only US iPhones that are eSim only.

Are you trying to switch from a physical SIM to an eSIM?

Do you have a pay as you go or pay monthly plan with EE?

Yes you can convert your physical sim to esim. During the setting up your new iPhone the option to transfer all your settings from your old phone to new one is built into the Apple set up process. During the set up process Apple will ask if you want to convert your physical sim to esim on your new device. If your not happy with this, set up your phone with sim and go to EE app and order esim which you get downloaded to your device set up and remove sim.
