Help please - contacting EE

Hi there,

I am writing here as there is no other way to contact EE.

I am calling from my Three phone trying to discuss switching my contract to EE. I'd like to clarify a few things before I buy as it is a business contract and needs international roaming. Sadly, the automated welcome call for the sales line does not  recognise the touch tone, the options it gives is to use 150 from my phone (I'm not a customer so I can't) or directs me to the website which has no email or chat function and so it directs me back to email.

I need to sort the phone in the next 24 hours so I can pick it up in the UK while I'm there. is there any way at all of speaking to someone at EE or have them call me. To be honest, it isn't the best intro to EE's future services.

Thanks in advance

Hi @KateWolfenden

It would be great to have you with us for your services!

I'm not too sure why you aren't able to speak with us and get through to our sales area when calling.

What about visiting us in store instead? You can book an appointment so there's no waiting around

@KateWolfenden : EE provides no email contact.

Try calling EE Sales on +44 800 956 6000.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Thank you XRaySpex - I've tried that number as well as well as the mobile number - I can get through to the line, but they are automated messages with recorded options to direct the call. I have an iphone 10 and it doesn't seem to recognise my touch tone responses. After three attempts it directs me to the website or to text 150, so I can't get through. Any other ideas? Otherwise I might just give up and try another provider that is easier to get hold of 🙂

I have the same issue. The system does not recognize my touch tones so I cannot proceed.

How can I contact customer care? I am not in the country at the moment.

This is very poor customer service.

Do you have a query we could help you with on the community?

If you need to discuss the account, could you try calling from another phone or VoIP such as Skype?
