Help...Confused!!

I'm sure there is a genius out there who can help!

My wife and I are on one account, with 2 different numbers. My kids are on Plusnet. I've decided to move the kids into the same EE account so we can gift data and generally manage things from one place. I called the Digital team and they couldn't match my existing deal (their is a loyalty discount on there) nor could they match the 10Gb for £10 deal which Uswitch offer. I was told to sign up with Uswitch and then link the accounts.

So I signed my daughter up to a new account via Uswitch and I think I can see somewhere to add account in My EE. However the email I received says that her number will port within 24 hours, but surely I need a new SIM from them before it can be used?

@eglons , if your daughter is with plus net and moving over to EE, did you get a PAC code to port her number over? Yes, the SIM card is usually sent via 2nd class post, so once she has the SIM card, you should be able to add her to your account, so long as you are the account holder. If you are still having problems, I would suggest you ring customer service, they should be able to help.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Yes I put the pac code in as part of the setup, what I'm confused about is they say that the number will port in 24 hours, but won't that mean her phone is then dead until I get the new SIM?

Hi @eglons.

Usually you would complete the number port when you already have an EE SIM card.

When are you getting your SIM?

The number post seems to be part of the uswitch data. I immediately had an email saying it would be 24 hours, but no email saying when/if a new SIM would arrive.

Thanks @eglons.

Hopefully the new SIM arrives soon and before the transfer is fully complete.

If you've gone through uSwitch they would usually send a SIM out.
