Extending SIM card usage

Hello, I'm currently using an EE SIM card that will expire on February 16th, with 30 days of usage remaining. I would like to continue using this SIM card without changing my phone number. Is there a way to extend or renew the usage of this SIM card without replacing it?

For what reason do you think it might expire? They don't usually as long as you keep paying for them.

Is it on contract or PAYG?
