Good evening everyone
I'm hoping someone can enlighten me and explain to me and give me an explanation.
My contract expires in 12 days and I have already given EE 30 Days Notice due to not agreeing on a new contract so today I requested a PAC code and was told by the EE that a block has been put on my mobile number which stopping me from being given a PAC code which i have found to be an absolute disgrace, apparently my mobile number is classed by EE as a premium number but surely I'm legally entitled to a PAC code so that I can take my number and go with another network.

Hi @Dazza1504 .
Welcome to the EE Community,
normally if you got a premium number you can't text PAC to 65075 if you call 150 and select the option to leave EE they should send you a one time pin to verify that you do have the number.
Thanks,
David

EE sent me a one time pin which I varified and gave it to customer services representative in the upgrades team he then stated he couldn't give me a PAC code which is totally unacceptable

You don't give notice to cancel when you are intending to move to another network by PAC. It's 1 or t'other.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Oh okay I see well I did give 30 days notice that I wouldn't be staying with EE as we couldn't agree on a new 24 month contract it wasn't until today that I requested a PAC code which then the upgrades team member stated he couldn't give me one after speaking to his manager

I think EE is crazy, I text 65075 to ask for PAC number, it is blocked. I called for EE to leave to ask for PAC number, when press 4 for leave. It immediately hang up. Crazy

Hello @Samb098.
Thanks for coming here.
I am sorry to hear you are looking to leave.
Have you recently activated this SIM?
Texting PAC to 65075 should provide you with your PAC code.
Within your account online do you see the option to select Leave EE?
Katie
