EE New PAYG SIM not working since porting to old number

Hi so i recently got a new pay as you go sim for my phone, It was working on the new number when I first installed it but since port to my old number with my PAC code it is no longer working. I cant phone EE nor can I use someone else's phone currently. Can one of the staff please help me fix this please, thanks.

I'm concerned to hear that your sim isn't working now that you've ported over to us.

 

Is your sim with your previous network still working with your mobile number?

thanks for getting back to me, and no not anymore I was originally with PlusNet mobile on EE but they since shut down their business, which is why I switched.

Hi @franda 

Are you using the EE SIM in a new device, or is it the one you had with your previous provider? Do you have another phone that you could try putting the SIM card in, to see if it works?

No its the same phone. I don't unfortunately, however I don't think its my phone that's the problem, my old sim worked fine, and this one did as well for a few days until my number ported. Can you please check if my number was properly ported if I give you the necessary information?

Hi, I've just tested it on a friends phone, not working on theirs either.

Do you have signal showing on your new EE SIM at all? 

We don't have account access here at the community. 

You'd need to call our Customer service team on 08009566000 from any other phone, or if you don't have access to another phone you can pop into any EE store where a guide will be able to check the SIM for you. 
You can find your nearest EE store at EE Store Finder
