Hi,
I renewed my two-year contract. SIM only. Upon check-out, EE claimed they would send me a new SIM. Does anyone have any experience with this? I am overseas so the current SIM in my phone better not stop working, otherwise I am stuffed because of MFA on banking.
Is this just a way to encourage me to register another SIM and a new number?
Never in my life has a renewal (at Three for 7 years) required the shipment of a new SIM.
Thoughts?

Hi @chezzy271
Welcome to the Community.
A new SIM card isn't necessary on an upgrade, so you can choose to have one or use the existing.
If you do have a SIM sent out as part of an upgrade, you'd manually have to activate it once you receive it, so there is no worry of your current SIM card stop working automatically while overseas.
