Change my payg number to my old number?

I have ended my ee contract and want to use the phone number I had with my payg account. Can you help me with this please?

When you cancelled your contract you should've asked for it to moved to PAYG. Now it's gone for good.

When was your number disconnected from pay-monthly contract? If it was within a day or so, you may have a small chance of recovering it if you contact EE CS ASAP.

If it's more than a day or so, then as above - the number is no longer yours. If you request a transfer to PAYG as part of your cancellation, the number is not disconnected.
