As the title says, I can make calls and use data, but calls to my number go straight to EE voicemail, and no text messages get through.
I've tried multiple options on 150, but all of them end with the AI telling me it will send me a text message with instructions which is super useful because I can't receive them.
Are there any options that will get me through to an actual human being? Or does anyone know another way I can resolve this?
Thank you in advance.

A number port-in usually takes place the working day after a PAC is submitted. If you provided a PAC as part of the ordering process, then it's treated as submitted the working day that you first connected that SIM to the EE network on its temporary number.

A common cause of this, is a "Do not disturb" mode or unconditional "divert all calls" being inadvertently set.
Ensure you have restarted your phone or toggled flight mode, after ensuring both these options are set to off. What happens if you send text message to your own number?

Hi,
Thank you for the response. I checked and Do not disturb is toggled off. I toggled it on and off, then did the same with flight mode. I restarted the phone but there is no change.
Call forwarding is also off but I toggled it anyway. No change.
I forgot to mention that I switched from another provider a few days ago, so it could have something to do with the transition? They said it would take up to 24 hours though so I figured it would be done by now which is why I put the sim in today (plus I can make calls and use the data).

When did the number transfer take place, @Macks? It can take up until midnight of the port date for it to fully complete. Is your old SIM from your previous network disconnected now?

Hi Chris,
Thank you for replying. I'm not sure when the transfer took place exactly. I ordered the sim (and number change) 3 days ago. I've just put my old network sim back in and it still works, so maybe I'm just being impatient? I'll sit on it overnight like you say and see what it does tomorrow. Thank you for the help 🙂

Ah, so the transfer wouldn't start until I actually use the EE sim for the first time? That explains why it's only partially working I guess. I'll give it until Monday and hopefully it will all be online by then.
Thank you.

The whole port process only takes one day, and should only be "partially" complete during the day and complete by evening.
