I've just changed over from Plusnet and have kept my old number, this morning I received a text telling me that 'your existing number transfer is complete'. I've turned my phone on and off again but I still can't make calls or receive calls. When I try to make a call I get a voice telling me that I have dialled the wrong number even though it is stored in my phone and I have dialled it that way for years. Thank you for any help you can give me.

@lynnski1224 are you a new customer? are you on PAYG or contract? Does your phone show it’s connected to the EE network ? Are you porting a number over from a different network?

I am a new customer as of last week, I changed over from Plusnet. I'm on a 30-day contract. Yes, my phone says ee at the top. Yes, I ported over my old number from Plusnet

I've put my Plusnet sim in another phone and when I dial a number I just get beep beep beep, and when I try to text it says not delivered, it does show at the top of my phone Plusnet and the 3 curvy lines
. Also, I should have said my phone (iPhone SE 2020) still shows my temporary number and not my Plusnet number

The number transfer can take up to midnight to fully complete, please keep restarting the phone and if this continues please give our mobile care guides a call from any other phone to get this looked into 🙂
