Can i access my texts on an old pay monthly sim

Hi, I had 2 sim cards on my pay monthly plan. One of which is still in use and the other was stopped approx 12months ago.

I am currently having issues with an apple device and the text needs to be sent to that number. Is there any way I can access the text on that number if I no longer have the sim card.
