Can I wait a few months to port my number to EE?

Hi there

I have a contract with another mobile provider that runs out in a couple of months. As the signal is so bad where I live, I would like to get a new SIM only contract with EE and use the SIM in my dual sim phone for a couple of months while my contact runs out with the other network.

Can I use a PAC to port my old number to my EE account after a few months? Or do this need to be done from the start of the contract?

@congo181  You can do it after the other network contract has finished.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

You can port-in to EE at any time.

Great. Thanks both. Just to clarify, so I would essentially take a new number from EE with my SIM, and then after a couple of months can then get the PAC code from my old operator and convert the new EE phone number to my old network number?
