Can I use the phone number from a kids tablet as a spare, or in transition?

Is it possible to have all calls and texts to a number that's linked with my son's Lenovo tablet sent to my iPhone? Or for me to access them from my iPhone rather than having them accessible on the tablet?

It's currently on a child setting that means if I try and call the number it gets blocked, and phone/messages don't seem to be accessible - which is how I'd want it to stay for now (he's under five) but am having a couple of issues with my main phone number so I need a second number to help me clean it up and/or move over to a new one.

Thanks for your advice.

You can set an unconditional divert on any phone, to redirect all inbound calls to another number. Texts cannot be diverted.

Thank you @bristolian I can't find anything to do with the phone number on the tablet at all but I think that's because of the child settings, so I will try turn that off so can set up the divert and find a way to access texts if needed... that may mean turning off the child settings everytime, not sure... complicated! :0)

Android-based devices still allow access to all phone settings menus regardless of parent-link config. The divert menus are SIM-controlled.
