Can I convert my Sim to an eSim from overseas

Pachyderm51

I've relocated to Australia but need to keep my British EE Sim active.

However, I need to put an Australian SIM in to my iPhone, but it won't take two physical SIMs. The Australian plan doesn't issue eSims. Therefore I'd like to convert my UK Sim to an eSim. Is this possible? I can't find any information on how to switch from a physical to an eSim, or even how to order an eSim online.

I've got the EE app - but the site says to download an app called 'MyEE'. Is this a different thing? If so, it's not available in the Australia region App Store.

Any tips appreciated.

No, for 2 possible reasons:

  1. It can only be done while on EE's home UK network.
  2. If it's a PAYG SIM, eSIMs are not available anyway.

MyEE is the previous name of the EE app.
