Activating eSIM stuck

iPhone 16 pro max stuck on activating eSIM screen.

says “you can continue setting up you’re iPhone while your eSIM is activating.”
but there’s the spinning ring at the bottom, and cannot leave that screen. Has been 20+ mins, probably longer. 

Anyone else had this and have a solution?

I would suggest you ring customer service to get this sorted, see ways of contacting them in my signature.

I’m currently having this exact same issue.  Not tried anything yet and it’s been running about 15 minutes plus.  Wifes iphone 16 migrated first time no issues.

Hoping someone has a solution fast.

I am currently on hold to them on my partners phone so will update if I get a solution. 

Mine has been close to an hour now, I am on hold to EE so I will let you know if o find a fix. 

@Jamescombe , thank you for that, but if you have to wait a long time, I would suggest cancelling the call and trying again later or at another time during the day.

Same problem here, you find a solution to this yet?

I pressed the x top right of old phone then restarted the iphone 16, looks like you can start the process again, but it says on old phone in mobile data that esim is transferred to new phone.  I’ll post back if any more issues.

Same, eSim iPhone transfer failed, network now gone from old phone and nothing on the new one. Tried downloading eSim again from website and app but both fail saying code no longer valid. I have no phone or wifi calling now and been on hold for online chat for 2 hours 😞

Seeing many posts with the same issue on X, any statement being made?
