Unable to call Australian numbers

I also have this issue. 

I am receiving text messages but i am unable to call australian numbers with my sim, i have the inclusive add on for roaming zone 1 and my data works. its just calling numbers.

Have you tried doing a manual search for a network, rather than using automatic network?

I have just tried that, and changed it from optus to telstra and still no luck. 

I can receive calls and text messages, use my data i am just unable to make phone calls to local numbers (I always include the local dialling code).

Any other suggestions?

Can you call UK-based numbers? Have you been able to call Australian numbers on this visit previously?

What happens when you try calling Aussie-numbers?
