Hello,
I am going to Greece for 2 weeks. Could you please advise me when I should text RO GREECE to 150? From the UK or when I am in Greece?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@elenatoo : On PAYG there are charges for using your pack allowances in the EU of either £2.50 / day or £10 / week, to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment. You will receive a msg upon arrival telling you about these charges for roaming in EU & inviting to take up these options. If you opt for neither or you don't have an active pack, you will be paying standard rates for calls & texts & need to buy a PAYG add-on for data.
As you are on PAYG, just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.

@elenatoo Texting RO Greece will only get the information on how much it’ll cost to use your device while there. Do it to see what costs are involved. Also have a look at THIS
If your a contract customer you need to text ROAMING to 150 to enable roaming n your account and you can do this now.
You have a choice on how much you want ant to pay. The daily rate of £2.47 or you can purchase the roaming pass at £25 per month. This add on needs to be cancelled when you back in the UK.
