Hi,
Im currently in Mexico and cannot receive or make phone calls or send texts. I can however access mobile data and receive texts.
I have the roaming pass and received the confirmation text when I landed.
does anyone have a solution to this as both me and my partner are having the same issues.
we have tried resetting phones, WiFi calling off, roaming enabled.
I can’t get in touch with EE support as their chat bots are hopeless and can’t call 150 as it disconnects straight away

@Grhm have you tried a manual network search to connect to a different network ? Wi-Fi calling doesn’t work abroad so you can leave that switched off anyway. any data roaming setting needs to be enabled on the device as this allows you to use data whilst abroad this has nothing to do with calls or texts.

Hi Chris,
Yes it’s connected to TELCEL, all data roaming is on and active on the account.
The main issue is the access to another phone as both mine and my partners phone are having the same issues.

Have you been able to make & receive calls on this trip previously? What happens when you try doing so now?
Data roaming simply means using mobile data whilst roaming. It has no impact on voice-call roaming or text-message roaming.
Perform a manual network search, and try connecting to each local network in-turn. Are the symptoms the same across each one?
