Travelling to India and using iPhone and Apple watch

I am going to be travelling to India soon. I have an Apple Watch with cellular connection. Will I have to buy a data add on for that as well as my phone, or would the data add on I get for my phone work with my watch?

I don’t plan on separating my watch and phone at all, but just in case, will it need a separate add on? I know it has its own number is all.

@pwdebb  The watch will only work when connected to the iPhone you can not roam with a smartwatch.  There is no data add for the watch you can not even enable roaming for it there is no option for this.
