What’s changing?
How can I see the new prices?
What if I don’t buy a pass when I’ve landed outside of the Europe zone?
I received a text about my roaming products being removed, which products are no longer being sold?
What happens when my product is removed?
Inclusive Extras:
How will this affect my travel in Europe?

@_MrR_ , you are lucky, mine does not show unlimited ROW 1, bill date was the 1st March, so will see if it happens with the next bill.

To add some more positive news. My son (also on full works) who has not been travelling with me in ROW Z1 countries has just been in an EE chat session with a very helpful guide and I have snipped the bulk of the relevant conversation below ….
Your plan includes ROAM IN EU , ROW OR ( Roaming Pass ROW )
You don't have to pay anything if you travel ZONE 1 countries.
Albania | Algeria | Australia | Bangladesh | Bosnia and Herzegovina | Canada | China | Dominican Republic | Faroe Islands | Fiji | Indonesia | Israel | Kuwait | Malaysia | Mexico | Moldova | Montenegro | New Zealand | Oman | Peru | Puerto Rico | Qatar | Serbia | Seychelles | Singapore | South Africa | South Korea | Taiwan | Thailand | Turkey | United Arab Emirates | United States | Vietnam
100% I assure you you won't be charged a single £ if you go and use the service in ZONE 1 countries.
In the app, it is yet to be updated. It will be done in 2-3 weeks.

Excellent news so it would appear it's finally happened.
Seems strange that no guides on here seem to be aware of it but customer services do.

Great news. Does this mean that with a full works plan you just go to, say, Turkey and you don't need to swap inclusive extras as it's already included?

What I’ve been referring to is the full works plan where there shouldn’t be any swapping. This is the previous Roam further pass, now including all the ROW Zone 1 countries. With these you should now be able to land in the country and use data without an additional pass or cost. The roaming calculator in the app has not yet been updated. I’ve been in the UAE and Montenegro and in both countries everything worked fine. I’m back in the UAE on Monday and hopefully it will continue 🙂

Let us hope that the bill will show this as well, as my last bill still showed just 5 extra countries, that needs to be updated too.

Previously on the travel data pass, I could enable it so that I'd pay the daily fee to have roaming in whatever country. You could set it up in advance, and even just leave it on for any country/trip - you only got charged for the days you actually used roaming abroad.
Under the new system, at least for outside the EU it seems this can no longer be done in advance (to avoid hassle after landing), and we have to do it for every trip. Possibly even multiple times - e.g., if I'm away for 10 days, the cheapest option would be a 7 day pass (£25) and 3 daily passes (3x£5), but could we buy that all in one go, or would we have to repeatedly buy new passes during the trip?
I'm sure there are reasons for making this change, but it doesn't seem "easier"...
Are there any passes/add-ons available similar to the old options? I tried the link for "new plans with roaming included" but it just seems to list a load of apple stuff for apple phones, not for other makes of phones or without the apple stuff.

And has EE just ended free EU data? As of last year, I had free data roaming in the EU, but now according to the mobile application and linked page, it's £2.47 a day. I know EE ended EU roaming for new plans, but not for existing plans.
The recent thread https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Roaming/What-is-happening-with-EE-EU-roaming/m-p/1485284 suggests people with free EU roaming should still have that via a "Roam in EU" add-on or similar, but I no longer see this in my add ons. (I do have a "Full roaming" add-on but it's unclear what that means...) What has happened to EU free roaming?

You haven’t mentioned what plan you are actually on for anyone to help about EU roaming.
In relation to other roaming if you don’t have the particular pass included in your plan then you can only buy the pass ‘in country’. you can’t buy in advance.

I'm on "5G SIM Plan 24m 120GB £20".
Looking at https://ee.co.uk/mobile/sim-only-deals it seems only the full works or similar more expensive plans have free EU roaming. Curiously if I look in my EE mobile application, it also shows an "Unlimited SIM" which includes free EU roaming and is cheaper than what I'm currently paying, so maybe that's something to switch to - although I'm still curiously if it was meant to be removed from existing plans.
